Academics
Mitchell Technical Institute will
be hosting My Technical Interest Days again this year. Registration forms and
additional information about the events can be found atwww.mitchelltech.edu/admissions/campus-events and
on the attached flier.
MyTI (pronounced
"mighty") Days are an opportunity for students, along withinstructors, counselors, and administrators to
visit the programs at Mitchell Technical Institute that are the “next steps” in
career clusters of interest. The student may be enrolled those program courses
in high school or just have an interest in that area
The following are the dates for
the camps:
October 28, 2015 – Ag and
Transportation
November 10, 2015 – Business
November 10, 2015 – Cyber
November 18, 2015 – Scrubs
March 8, 2016 – Culinary
You will notice that there is not
a grade level of attendance for MyTI Days. I would say that camp is geared more
toward that sophomore or junior student
that is in the midst of career exploration, but I wouldn't discourage a senior who is trying to figure out what
to do next year or a freshman with
a great deal of interest in that area to apply either.
Registration is
limited, so I would encourage your students to apply early.
FFA
The SC/W FFA
leaves for the National Convention in Louisville Kentucky. The SC/W FFA
membership voted $20 individual dues at the October chapter meeting.
Please get your dues in to the business manager or Mr. Gross by Nov. 30th.

the bottom of your Coborn's receipt), Campbell's Soup Labels for
Education, pop tabs, and Coca-Cola points. Please save these for us even
