A meeting room at the YWCA on east side of crossroads has been reserved for a SOCIAL by the booster clubs for SC/W parents/players/fans on Thursday after the first session around 4:30PM. A taco bar from Taco Johns will be set up and socials for Friday and Saturday will be announced at a later time.
Tickets will be sold in Huron at the Huron Arena starting one hour before. There will be no advanced sale to the qualifying school.
Games will be televised on South Dakota Public TV
Becky Hinker will watch children at her home on the 17th and 18th. You can call or text her @ 605-350-5541.

Band/Music
Tuesday, November 15th
The Sanborn Central Woonsocket Blackhawks Marching Band will present a concert on Tuesday, November 15th at 7 pm in the Woonsocket gym. The concert will include the marching band song used in competition, the competitive marching band routine, and some small ensemble performances.
Prior to the concert, from 5:30-7:00, the band parents will serve a meal with choice of lasagna or tater tot hotdish, breadsticks, lettuce and bars or cookies. A free will offering will be taken with proceeds to benefit the band.

Upcoming Events
Co-Ed Volleyball at Sanborn Central on Sunday’s. We will start on November 13th and the 20th, then December 4th, 11th and 18th. It will cost $15 per person. Teams will consist of 3 men and 3 women playing. If you have a team ready to go, just let me know, Tambi.wormstadt@fcsamerica.com or 605-770-3077. Or you can talk to any booster club member. Otherwise if you don’t have a team and would still like to play, come and we will put you with a team if we can. We will start at 3 pm each Sunday and go until teams have played. There will be a waiver to sign if you are playing. Hope to see you there!!

Community News
Winter Gear Drive
The Town & Country Kids 4H Club (red group) along with Woonsocket's Sixth Grade students will be collecting new or gently used winter gear for all ages. The donations will be distributed to anyone needing coats, snow pants, gloves/mittens, hats and scarves for the cold weather.
The collection will be held from now until November 15th. If you wish to donate, collections boxes will be places around Woonsocket or at the 6th Grade classroom.
Anyone needing winter wear can come to Woonsocket's 6th Grade classroom on Wednesday, November 16th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Individuals who can not attend at the scheduled time may call the school office to arrange another time. Any winter ear left over will be donated to the Rose Bud Reservation.
Needed Items - Gently used or new adult and child sizes:

- Snow Pants
- Scarves
