Announcements

The JH Volleyball girls will practice at SC today and the Varsity Girls will practice at Woonsocket.

The VB Team travels to Ethan tomorrow to take on the Rustlers. The bus will leave Woonsocket at 3PM.

No School Thursday, Friday, or Monday of next week.

HS/JH FB will practice at Woonsocket on Thursday at 1:30 PM.

The FB Bus will leave Wessington Springs on Friday Morning at 6:15 AM and pick Woonsocket boys at 6:30AM.

The 5^th/6^th Grade Girls & Boys Basketball Practice and Game Schedule has been added to the Google Drive. Schedules and Parent Contact information will be sent home with players today.

Juniors: Magazine and cookie dough sales are due by September 9th. If you have not talked to your assigned teachers yet, be sure to do so. Keep selling!!!

Due to Highmore/Harrold not fielding a football team this year, we will play Hanson on September 4th at the FCA Bowl on the USF Field at 10 AM. The Blackhawks will wear their dark uniforms.

The Football Stadium is located off campus on the South East end of Sioux Falls near 69^th and Cliff. The address for the stadium is 6801 South Charger Circle, Sioux Falls, SD 57108.

A PDF Document with directions has been uploaded to the Football Folder on the Google Drive.

All school forms can be found on the Woonsocket Google Drive.

The WEPC is selling hats, gloves, scarves, and headbands with the SCW logo on them. Order forms and money are due back to the school by Friday, September 11. Checks can be made out to WEPC. Forms will be sent home with the elementary students and they can also be found on the Woonsocket Google Drive in the WEPC folder.

The syllabus for the 8^th-12^th grade band students will be sent home today. It can also be found on the Google Drive.

2015 Football & Volleyball Concession Stand Schedule is uploaded on the School Forms Google Drive Folder. 

A September Activities Calendar has been uploaded to the Google Drive under School Forms.

Attention 8^th-12^th Grade English classes. 20 points of AR will be required each quarter not semester.

5th grade parents: Currently students are learning about the most common played instruments in beginner band. After the students are done trying out all the instruments (which will be next week), I will be sending home a form that will let you know what instrument your student is best suited for.

On September 8th, from 6PM-8PM, there will be an instrumental showcase in the Sanborn Central music room. Stop in to purchase or rent-to-own an instrument. I will also be there to answer any questions you may have. After you stop in, stay to support our Blackhawks volleyball team as they take on Freeman!!

Crystalyx Cards are in.  Be looking for an FFA member to get yours!  The $20 purchase of a Crystalyx Card saves the producer $40 on one ton of Crystalyx.   Net saving to the producer is $20 per ton.  This has a great fundraiser for our FFA Chapter bringing in near $3000 last year. The SC/W FFA would like to thank the Forestburg Farmer’s Elevator, Wessington Springs Farm and Home Center, and Stan’s of Alpena for their support of the FFA through this program.
