Woonsocket at 8:55 a.m. FFA Members need
to remember to bring $8 for the meal.
Everyone will need a pencil and only range participants may bring a
clipboard. Bring other equipment as
needed. Be prepared for being outdoors
and likely getting soil on your clothes.

FFA Members:
Please try on your FFA jacket to make sure it still fits! The FFA Chapter will
buy back jackets that are in good condition for $25. You can then put
this money towards a new jacket (about $50). There are also jacket
scholarships available. Contact Mr. Gross for more information.
Cross Country Results (last week)
MCM Meet at Salem—Varsity Division
88 total runners, Rex placed 10th, Spens placed 26th, and
Malachi placed 78th. As a team the boys placed 7th out of
25 teams.
MVP Invite—Varsity- Rex placed 2nd
and Spens placed 5th. In the JH Division Malachi placed 10th
CBH Conference—Rex placed 1st,
and Spens placed 3rd. in the JH Division Malachi placed 2nd.
The XC Team travels to DeSmet on
Thursday Sept. 10th. The team leaves at 2:00PM.
The HS FB Team travels to White
on Friday to take on Deubrook. The Deubrook FFA is having a Pizza Feed
beginning at 5:30 PM. A flyer for that can be found on the Google Drive.
The 5th/6th Grade
Girls & Boys Basketball Practice and Game Schedule has been added to the
Google Drive. Schedules and Parent Contact information were sent home last
week.
Sophomores: Do not forget to turn
in your Class Ring Order Form to Mr. Weber by Wednesday Sept. 9th.
The Homecoming Theme this year is

Juniors: Magazine and cookie
dough sales are due by September 9th. If you have not talked to your assigned
teachers yet, be sure to do so. Keep selling!!!

The WEPC is selling hats, gloves,
scarves, and headbands with the SCW logo on them. Order forms and money are due
back to the school by Friday, September 11. Checks can be made
out to WEPC. Forms will be sent home with the elementary students and they
can also be found on the Woonsocket Google Drive in the WEPC folder.

5th grade parents:
Currently students are learning about the most common played instruments in
beginner band. After the students are done trying out all the instruments
(which will be next week), I will be sending home a form that will let you know
what instrument your student is best suited for.
On September 8th, from 6PM-8PM, there
will be an instrumental showcase in the Sanborn Central music room. Stop in to
purchase or rent-to-own an instrument. I will also be there to answer any
questions you may have. After you stop in, stay to support our Blackhawks
volleyball team as they take on Freeman!!
