3rd/4th Grade Girls Practice for Saturday has been cancelled.

We have POSTPONED our JV Jamboree originally schedule for Saturday, December 17th. We have rescheduled it for Saturday, January 21st. The schedule of games will remain the same.

The Boys Blackhawks moved to 2-0 on the season with a 58-35 win over TDA last night.  Helping were:  Spens  1 st, Trey—14 pts, 3 reb, 3ast, 1 st  Tater—1 st   Trent—10 pts,7 reb, 10 ast,6 st   Logun—6 pts,5  reb,3 ast, 1 st   Jared—2 pts, 2 reb, 2 st     Shaun—7 pts, 9 reb,1 ast, 3 st   Noah—5 pts, 3 reb, 1 ast    Wyatt—14 pts,1 reb, 1 ast, 1 st     We shot 22/55 FG for 40% and 8/14 FT for 57%.  We had 30 rebounds but only 8 offensive.  Coach olson’s comments:   TDA is an improved team and I thought we played well in jumping out to a 20 point halftime lead.  We were very active both offensively and defensively.  The second half I thought we coasted a bit and stood around on offense leading to some bad turnovers and possessions. It also showed in our offensive rebounding.  A good showing by our boys though and we will need to get ready for a very fast MVP team.

Winterguard

MONDAY, JANUARY 9TH AT SC 5:45.

HELP WANTED……. We have a fantastic Winterguard Organization which practices several times a week.  These young ladies put many hours of hard work into this program, unfortunately our competitions are all in Minneapolis.  We are estimating the expense per participant (travel, costume, drill, equipment, circuit membership fee) at about $500 per student.   The members plan on doing some fund raising, but past experience has proven that we will fall short.  We have some students who have been attending practices faithfully, but realize financially they won’t be able to afford it.  At this time we are hoping to find sponsors – not to just hand money over, but to provide these members with jobs to earn their way.   If you are willing to help us out – please contact Mr. Kroeger at brett.kroeger@k12.sd.us
