Thank you to everyone who helped and participated at our Sunday Funday!!


We are looking for someone to take over the spring soccer organization. It is volunteer based. If you are interested please contact Shelley Schlicht.


Western Dakota Tech is hosting our next Eagle Night on March 1st beginning at 5:30PM. Eagle nights provide students with the perfect opportunity to explore WDT. Students interested in applying to WDT may apply at our Eagle Night. We do ask students interested in attending Eagle Night RSVP online at www.wdt.edu or by calling 605-718-2565.

Community News


Everyone is invited to attend the Tanna Kingsbury Believe Scholarship Bean Bag Tournament and Supper on Saturday, March 5 at the Stekl Shop near Letcher. The pork loin supper starts at 5:00 p.m. and free will donations will be accepted. The Bean Bag Tournament starts at 6:30 p.m. with registration beforehand. The cost is $20/team and cash prizes will be awarded. Also going on during the evening will be a silent auction, steer auction, photo booth, bouncy house, and various games. Even if you don’t want to be in the tournament, please join us for supper and the fun activities throughout the evening. Vanessa Gravatt is looking for a stall cleaner a couple of times a week. If any student is interested in this job please call Vanessa at 605-999-3025.

There will be different activities and games from 1PM-6PM and all ages Pre-School to High School are able to attend. A full schedule of activities can be found on the Google Drive.

The Lady Blackhawks defeated JVC last night in the District Championship game. They now will play Friday, March 4th at the Huron Arena for a chance to advance to the State Tournament.


The Boys play at Wessington Springs today. JH starts at 5:15PM followed by JV and Varsity. Bus leaves at 4:30PM.


The 3/4 Girls will play tonight, Feb 26 in Wessington Springs.  Please have your child to the Wessington Springs Gym at 5:15.  Please wear a black shirt.  We will follow the same format used when we played Springs in Woonsocket.  The girls will play a scrimmage at the half time of the JH and JV.

Leave for Minneapolis on Friday.
